Sarah came to Canon Capital in January 2018 to work as part of our Fast Track Tax Team, joining us permanently in June 2018 as a Staff Accountant. She earned her B.A. in Accounting from Moravian College, where she has also completed some graduate studies. Sarah also brings experience in Accounts Payable and Income Tax Compliance. A Telford resident, Sarah enjoys mid- and long-distance running and racing, traveling – including trips to the beach — and going to concerts. When she is not busy with all of those activities, she can be found cooking, baking and spending time with her cat, Belle, and kitten, Dorito. Sarah is a member of IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) and PICPA (Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
Stephanie joined Canon Capital in January 2017, bringing over 25 years of diversified experience in insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, and public accounting. She earned her B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University and an MBA in Accounting from St. Joseph’s University. Stephanie, her husband, and three children live in Harleysville where she enjoys reading, gardening, and playing the violin. She was recently elected Treasurer of the Indian Valley Public Library’s Foundation of Friends Committee and her family sponsors a child in Nairobi, Africa.
Phil started with Canon Capital in 2012. Prior to Canon Capital he held positions as a Cost Accounting Manager, Director of Administration/Assistant Secretary-Treasurer, Manager of Corporate Tax, and Corporate Secretary/Manager of Shareholders Services for a well-known local company. He also has worked as a tax preparer for several CPA firms. Phil has an Accounting degree from Peirce College and attended Philadelphia University. In addition, he belongs to the National Society of Accountants, PA Society of Tax and Accounting Professionals, National Association of Tax Professionals, and Family Offices Group. He is also involved with Indian Valley Faith Fellowship Church, Bucks-Mont Coalition for Evangelism, Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce, and Hatfield Chamber of Commerce. Phil lives in Harleysville with his wife and has three children and six grandchildren. In Phil’s spare time, he enjoys playing softball, hunting, fishing, walking, hiking, working out at the gym, and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events.

Steve has been with Canon Capital since 1999 and has been practicing in public accounting for over 30 years. He received his BS in Accounting/Business Management with a minor in Psychology from Eastern Mennonite University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs (PICPA), the National College Advocacy Group and the AICPA Tax, Personal Financial Planning and the Forensic and Valuation Services sections. Steve specializes in personal and business tax, estate and trust tax planning and preparation, foreign tax issues, personal financial and college planning services, and business tax planning. He also has significant experience in church, non-profit, and private foundation tax areas. In addition to being a CPA, he also holds the Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation, the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) and the Certified Specialist in Estate Planning (CSEP) designation. Steve and his wife reside in Souderton. Steve has three children and enjoys traveling, playing sports, gardening, and bicycling.

Georgia joined Canon Capital in 1993. Her experience as an auditor at three CPA firms over 30 years afforded her exposure to many different not-for-profit, government, and for-profit entities, such as private schools, senior centers, mission and church organizations, civic organizations, social services agencies, retirement communities, pension plans, local government units, local government pension plans, real estate developers, real estate agencies, and manufacturing companies. Georgia received her BS in Accounting from Messiah College, holds a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation, and is a member of the PICPA and the AICPA. She serves in a volunteer capacity with Bridge of Hope National, Souderton Brethren in Christ Church and the Big Red Band Boosters. Georgia resides in Souderton with her husband and two sons. She enjoys reading, playing the flute, and traveling.
William (Bill) O’Neill started with Canon Capital in January 2018 as one of our seasonal tax preparers and is now a Senior Accountant. Bill earned his B.S. in Accounting from Villanova University followed by becoming a CPA. His background includes 20 years in Public Accounting and 12 years as the Controller in the golf course industry. He resides in Telford where he enjoys home projects and yardwork. A car buff, Bill also spends his free time traveling, walking or running, and watching sports, especially basketball. He also is a community volunteer with the West Rockhill park system. Bill is a member of AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) and PICPA (Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants).
Sherri started with Canon Capital in October, 1999 and concentrates the majority of her efforts in auditing and not-for-profit entities. Sherri received her BS in Accounting from Millersville University and has over 25 years of experience in public accounting. Her experience includes non-profit auditing as well as work in the private sector. She serves on the board of Sisters U and enjoys reading, traveling, watching movies and spending time with her family and dogs. She has a special fondness for individuals with disabilities like her son Tyler, and this has led to her continued interest in non-profit entities and their missions. Sherri resides in Harleysville with her husband and two sons.

George is the Comptroller of Canon Capital and a Founding Member of Canon Capital in 1987. He received his Associates in Science in 1972 from Montgomery County Community College and his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 1974 from LaSalle College. George has been a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants since 1980. George is a member of the Board of Directors and the Secretary for the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA, an Advisory Board member of the Upper Perkiomen Valley YMCA, a Charter Member of the Upper Perkiomen Valley YMCA, and a Finance Committee member of the Upper Perkiomen Valley Chamber of Commerce. He resides in Perkiomenville with his wife and has two children. He enjoys running and swimming for fitness and spending time with his family.

Brent joined Canon Capital in 1998 and is responsible for providing management advisory services, tax and general business planning, tax preparation, and financial statement preparation and review services for numerous businesses and their owners. In addition, he assists the firm directors with scheduling, staff development, and business development. He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Temple University. In addition to holding his CPA designation he also holds the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation. Brent is a member of the AICPA and the Institute of CMA’s, and is a former instructor of business development courses at Montgomery County Community College. He has also served on the Economic Restructuring Committee for the Souderton/Telford downtown revitalization efforts and the Stewardship Committee for Keystone Fellowship. He currently serves as the treasurer of the Indian Valley Chamber of Commerce. Brent resides in Souderton with his wife and three children. He enjoys boating, water-skiing, and working on home improvement projects.
Brenden started with Canon Capital in September of 2015. He is a graduate of Delaware Valley University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration, Accounting. He is a United States Marine Corps veteran of 8 years, is a member of the PICPA, and volunteers for the United Way. He lives with his wife and three children in Quakertown. In his spare time he enjoys cars, volleyball, and DIY projects.
